Our Laminated Panels are made from thin, flexible and lightweight amorphous silicon solar cells laminated in advanced polymers, where no glass is used. Uni-Solar's thin film technology lets you cover a roof with PV at half the price per square foot of traditional crystalline PV products.
The lightweight, glass-free, flexible, durable and shadow tolerant panels have excellent high-temperature performance and are easily installed. These solar products have received worldwide recognition and, during the last year, have witnessed 100 percent sales growth.
Compared to conventional solar technology utilizing single crystal or polycrystal silicon, the thin-film solar cells are 100 times thinner, do not use crystalline silicon material and, therefore, are unaffected by the worldwide scarcity of silicon.
